(Sino-heavymach for short) its Department of Environmental Equipment Institute of Steelmaking Engineering Division successfully won the bid for three sets of blast furnace coal gas fine desulfurization, and two sets of flue gas denitrification for lime kilns (rotary kilns and shaft kilns) from an iron and steel company in Fujian, marking a strong start for Sino-heavymach in the environmental protection market. This project not only fills a gap for Sino-heavymach in the fields of coal gas fine desulfurization and lime kiln denitrification, but also marks a critical step forward in its diversified strategic layout within the environmental protection technology aspect. It ushers in a new chapter for 2025 in the field of pollution reduction and carbon emission mitigation, injecting strong momentum into the green transformation of the steel industry.

Sino-heavymach has adopted the "catalytic hydrolysis+dry absorption" process in the recently awarded coal gas fine desulfurization project. The coal gas from the blast furnace passed through a dual-stage dust removal system to reduce particulate matter to below 5mg/Nm³, and then through the hydrolysis reaction and deep adsorption technology, the sulfides from the coal gas will be removed efficiently, achieving a desulfurization efficiency of over 80%, which significantly reduces emissions sulfur pollution from the source. This time, the coal gas fine desulfurization project has not only demonstrated Sino-heavymach's technical innovation capabilities in the environmental protection field, but also highlighted its commitment to driving the green transformation and upgrading of the steel industry. By providing critical technical support, Sino-heavymach is enabling the steel industry to take solid strides toward energy conservation, emission reduction, and green development.

Meanwhile, the lime kiln flue gas denitrification project also stands out for its remarkable achievements. By employing the low-temperature SCR denitrification process combined with flow field numerical simulation optimization, the project has optimized the equipment structure and operational logic, enabling the end-user to achieve industry-leading performance of NOx emissions conversion concentration≤20mg/Nm³, and ammonia slip≤2mg/Nm³. Both figures significantly outperform the local environmental industry standards, injecting new momentum into the green transformation of this iron and steel company.
